I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hostal Turistico Illapa Cusco 119, and I must say, the experience far exceeded even my highest expectations. From the moment I arrived, the owner, Francis, went above and beyond to make me feel at home; his hospitality truly made my stay exceptional. The central location of the hotel was incredibly convenient, allowing me to easily explore Plaza des Armas and enjoy the vibrant San Blas neighborhood.The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were outstanding, with cozy beds and warm bedding that provided a welcoming retreat after a long day of exploring. The attention to detail, such as the thoughtful breakfast setup with a variety of options, showcased the care and consideration that the staff put into ensuring guests have a memorable stay. The assistance provided in organizing tours to Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain made my trip stress-free and truly enjoyable. The presence of a shared kitchen added a touch of homeyness, allowing for some evenings of preparing simple meals and sharing stories with fellow travelers. The 24-hour reception and helpful staff, who were patient and accommodating despite my limited Spanish, truly made me feel like I had found a hidden gem in Cusco.
